WWPSA REC K and 1st grade
WWPSA is pleased to announce its indoor Recreation training program for the winter season. We have teamed up with our Recreation
Training partner ProActive Sport and Soccer for players in the Kindergarten and 1st grades. Class Content The class structure will follow the WWPSA customized SIPS curriculum over the 8 week session. SIPS aims to use the sport
of soccer to teach in an environment that always remembers that ‘children learn by having fun’. Social
Development. SIPS programs actively promote self confidence, self-esteem, concentration, perseverance and sensitivity
to others. Intellectual Development. The SIPS curriculum encourages the child to enhance communication,
mathematical, language skills through a variety of creative soccer exercises. Physical Development.
SIPS games aid basic motor learning encouraging the child to experience an array of movement, aiding coordination and physical
well-being. Skills. SIPS teaches the fundamentals of soccer and encourages creativity. 9
weeks of indoor fun and excitement for players Kindergarten and 1st grade. Following the Soccer SIPS curriculum. Players
will learn the fundamentals of soccer in an environment which encourages social interaction, learning and fun. Class
Dates: Jan 8, 15, 22, 29, Feb 5, 12, 19, 26 and Mar 4 Location: Millstone School Gym (75 Grovers Mill Road,
Plainsboro) Program is limited to 12 players only (12:1 coaching ratio) All coaching will be done by Coach
