The Premier Position camp is aimed at developing the player as an individual, looking both at technical and tactical components while being trained functionally to the requirements of their position.

Training will include decision-making, with and without the ball, in both pressurized and non-pressurized environments.

The program will take the players through an in-depth individual understanding of their position and develop it into game real scenarios.
All three curricula will combine to provide live game situations to challenge and develop the player’s tactical knowledge.


At the end of each curricula players will have learned:

 Defender 101

•    The role of 4 Ps of first defender (Pressure, Pace, Position and Patience)
•    The roles of 2nd, 3rd and 4th defenders (angle of support, communicator, balance and concentration players)
•    To identify team shape and roles of back 3 and back 4 (sweeper vs flat)
•    To be more confident in possessing the ball out of the back once possession is won
•    The differences between High and Low pressure defending (the when and where)



Striker School

•    To highlight the 4 A’s of shooting (Accuracy, Awareness, Aggression and Attitude)
•    A greater understanding of offensive principles of play (Depth, Width, Mobility, Penetration, and Creativity)
•    The use of combination play with more than 1 forward and supporting midfielders
•    To refine their Crossing and finishing techniques
•    How to defend in the attacking third



Keeper Clinic

•    To refine and develop their mobility, footwork, flexibility, agility, reaction/action speed
•    Correct ball handling technique
•    To develop diving, shot stopping, and narrowing the angle
•    The when and where regarding distribution of rolling and throwing – to include role as 1st attacker
•    How to organize a defensive unit
